Why they are free
These tools are ours to give away.
We are a nonprofit, and the people who most need this help are the least able to pay for it. So the tools stay free, they stay open without an account, and they collect as little as they can get away with. If a tool ever asks you for something, it is because you are trying to do something that needs it, never because we want the data.
